(Pii), a Contract Development and Manufacturing Organization (CDMO) headquartered in Hunt Valley, Maryland, announced today that it has filled a key leadership position with the appointment of Hank Nowak, Vice President of Business Development. Mr. Nowak joins Pii with nearly 30 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, most recently serving as the Head of Global Business Development at Metabolon, Inc., a leading provider of metabolomics services. Prior to Metabolon, Hank held Business Development leadership positions with Banner Pharmacaps, DSM Pharmaceuticals and Patheon Manufacturing Services, Inc., having begun his career as a research scientist with Bristol-Myers Squibb.
