PII (Pharmaceutics International, Inc) is a leading multinational contract formulation development, Clinical Trial Materials (CTM), and commercial manufacturing company with corporate headquarters in Hunt Valley, Maryland, USA. Founded in 1994 PII can manufacture a wide range of dosage forms covering solid, semi-solid and aseptic filling. This service is complemented by full analytical and regulatory support.

With over 200,000 square feet of space, PII has established a global reach through its facilities in the U.S. and Europe. In the U.S., the Hunt Valley cGMP facilities are state-of-the-art and contain 50 production rooms including 22 containment suites, separate softgel suites, a formulation development center and 6 analytical laboratories which have been inspected by both the FDA and EMEA.

Acquired in 2008, Pharmaterials Ltd (www.pharmaterials.co.uk) is a technology driven contract research organization specializing in the optimization of drug substance physical forms and formulations to facilitate the development of low solubility and poorly permeable drug substances. Pharmaterials is housed in laboratories and offices in Reading, UK.

Through a high level of customer service, PII continues to earn repeat business. This has resulted in a balanced client base of major multinational and virtual pharmaceutical companies which are located in the United States and Europe.
